In celebration of Surgeon Simulator 2013‘s anniversary, Bossa Studios is releasing Surgeon Simulator: Anniversary Edition for the Sony PlayStation 4.

The popular Steam game puts the user in a simulation where they have to perform surgery in different scenarios. The game is played in first person, each finger of the protagonists hands being controlled independently. Different levels range from heart transplants to surgery in an ambulance with surgical instruments bouncing everywhere.

Earlier this week Sony’s PlayStation blog revealed that Surgeon Simulator: Anniversary Edition “contains all of the best parts from the Steam and iPad release all in one convenient package.” The iPad version’s teeth and eye surgery levels will be combined with original game that you all know and love as well as an additional exclusive PlayStation 4 mode that has yet to be revealed.

Surgeon Simulator: Anniversary Edition will be available exclusively on the PlayStation 4 through the PlayStation Store on August 12th.
