Sony Unveils First Look at God of War IV – E3 2016

Sony Unveils First Look at God of War IV – E3 2016

Who is ready for some more God of War? After what seemed like an awkwardly beautiful opening score to Sony’s E3 2016 press conference, Sony treated fans to their first look at God of War IV.

The game’s first trailer showcases a little bit of a departure for the Kratos we are familiar with, as he is much older and has settled down, creating another family. We watch as he teaches his son how to kill, all while pushing his idea of determination. Fans are treated to a taste of how the combat system works, while having Kratos deal out some heavy damage against some trolls in the forest. Just “Don’t be sorry…be better.”

Rumors have been spreading around for a while now about where they could actually go with the God of War franchise, with many speculating that Kratos would be tossed into a story that would tackle Norse mythology. Now that Kratos has basically demolished the Greek god roster it would be only logical.

While it is currently in development over at SCE Santa Monica Studios, there is no confirmed release date as of yet. Feel free to watch the E3 2016 reveal trailer of God of War IV!
