Skyrim (Very) Special Edition is Real!! – E3 2018

I can’t believe this!

During Bethesda’s E3 2018 presentation Sunday evening, CEO Todd Howard delivered a hilarious spoof of the company’s propensity for porting their marquee title, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to every platform under the sun.

In a video presentation, a new port of the game, Skyrim (Very) Special Edition was featured as a game for Amazon’s Alexa device. It was quite the witty spectacle featuring comedian Keegan Michael Kay commanding different Skyrim related actions through his Alexa.

Funny joke, right?

Well the joke is on us.

Skyrim (Very) Special Edition is real!

We’ve played it!

Check out a brief demonstration of the game in action down below, and marvel at the intricate meta humor of Bethesda in perhaps the best E3 2018 surprise yet!

What’s left to say? This is brilliant! Celebrate in the comments section below.
