Reactivate With The Division 2 – E3 2018

Reactivate With The Division 2 – E3 2018

We didn’t have to wait for Ubisoft’s conference to see an extended look at The Division 2, as we got our first glimpse of the MMO-style RPG-shooter mashup today during Xbox’s E3 conference.

Not only did we get a bit of a story setup, and with it taking place in Washington D.C., but we got some actual gameplay footage (as well as some of that really “authentic” sounding in-game voice chat….#sarcasm).

Take a look at what the next game bearing the Tom Clancy name will bring to the masses:

From a quick glance, this really feels like more The Division, which is definitely not a bad thing. A lot of the core fundamentals from the first game are still here, even down to a very similar UI. As a fan of the original game and someone who still plays it to this day, that’s really all I need from a sequel.

Loot is still a major part of the game, co-op is leaned into (but never required) and I know I can’t wait to group up with some buddies and take down whatever gets in our way. Now we just need to know how the PvP aspect factors in.

We also got a release date: March 15th, 2019.

I know I am excited for The Division 2, but are you? Let us know.

Be sure to stay on top of all of NerdBacon’s E3 2018 coverage right here!
