Genre – Pinball
The Pinball genre is, well, exactly how it sounds. It’s pinball on your gaming system. Usually 2 buttons are used to move the left and right bumpers independently. The benefit to pinball at home is advanced gaming and computer graphics. Couldn’t do that in the arcade.
Back in the day (I mean, way back in the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s – even a lot in the 90’s) pinball machines were a huge thing. They were all the craze and stole many a quarter. You couldn’t go into any arcade or pool hall without seeing at least 2 pinball machines. So it wasn’t enough to play pinball on a real machine. Some folks thought it would be a good idea to try and translate that pinball experience to the home console or portable console systems. Below is a list of a those pinball games.
