In the wake of the recent announcement of the Castlevania pachinko game entitled Erotic Violence, departure of Kojima, and cancellation of the promising Silent Hill reboot, Konami has decided to add to the pain by announcing a new Silent Hill game…a pachinko game.
Fans of the series have flocked to the newest video showcasing the new Silent Hill pachinko game in anger, leaving thousands of angry comments and dislikes in their wake. And why shouldn’t they? Konami just recently cancelled the new Silent Hill reboot, Silent Hills, which had been slated to be the collaboration of the legendary Hideo Kojima and film director Guillero del Torro.
Is this what Konami meant when they said they would be committed to new Silent Hill titles?
Will this be the final pachinko game to come out of Konami? Which franchise is next?
Though this was already a tragedy, what makes it even more harrowing is that for 17 seconds one might think the trailer was for a Silent HIll 2 remake if not for the thumbnail.
